Privacy & cookies

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This page explains what personal data we handle when you use arventis.ai, how we look after it, and what cookies (or similar technologies) you'll come across. It applies whether you visit the site, email us, or otherwise get in touch.

Who we are

This site is operated by Arventis, based in Ireland. We act as the data controller for any personal data described below.

If you have questions about how your data is handled, or want to exercise any of your rights under the GDPR, write to contactus@arventis.ai.

What we collect, and why

When you email us

If you send a message to contactus@arventis.ai, the message itself — including your name, email address, company, and anything else you choose to include — is stored in our mailbox. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.

  • Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or your consent where you've initiated the contact.
  • Retention: kept for the duration of the conversation plus a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) so we can follow up and maintain accurate business records. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

When you visit the site

Our hosting provider records standard technical information for each visit — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.

  • Lawful basis: legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
  • Retention: short-lived access logs kept by our host (typically days to weeks).

Who we share data with

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for marketing. The third parties that process data on our behalf to make the site work are:

  • Netlify, Inc. — hosting and content delivery. Stores server logs and may set technical cookies for load-balancing.
  • Google Fonts — serves the Inter typeface used on this site. When your browser fetches the font files, Google receives standard request metadata (including your IP address).
  • Email provider — for handling mail sent to contactus@arventis.ai.

Some of these providers are based outside the EEA. Where that is the case, we rely on the appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) to ensure your data continues to be protected to GDPR standards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to how we process it
  • Receive a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission

To exercise any of these rights, email contactus@arventis.ai and we'll respond within one calendar month.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising.

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We don't run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any equivalent.

The only cookies that may be set are:

  • Strictly necessary technical cookies set by our hosting provider (Netlify) for load-balancing and serving the site. These don't identify you and aren't used for tracking. They're exempt from the consent requirement under the ePrivacy Directive.

You can clear cookies, block them, or set notifications for new ones at any time using your browser settings. Useful guides:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge

If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, this page will be updated and we'll ask for your consent before setting them.

Security

We follow the security and engineering practices described on our security page — encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted clearly.
